Our History
About The Ministry – Oasis Pregnancy Care Centers
Since 2009, women, teens, and families have found hope, dignity, and comprehensive support at Oasis, all while hearing the Gospel. Oasis is a Christian, non-profit ministry that offers support to families experiencing planned or unplanned pregnancies. We offer these services regardless of faith or background, and all information is kept confidential.
We have five centers, four in Pasco County (Land O Lakes in 2009, Wesley Chapel in 2013, Dade City in 2021, and New Port Richey in 2024) and one in north Hillsborough County (Tampa in 2018). Clients can receive appointments for pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, peer counseling, education, and information on childbirth, fetal development, and prenatal care.
We also offer information on adoption and the value and sanctity of human life along with practical assistance for mother and child. Although we never recommend abortion or provide referrals to abortion providers, our medical staff offers medically accurate information about abortion risks and procedures. Most of all, unconditional love is extended to all family members, providing them with God’s intended sense of dignity and self-worth.
The Oasis Team
April Beck
Executive Director
April has led the team at Oasis as the Executive Director since 2021, but began her time at Oasis as the Client Services Director in 2017. She is a board-certified Biblical Counselor with a background in ministry and secular non-profit leadership. She is dedicated to women receiving dignity and the type of practical support that will lead them to understand the love of Christ.
David Dorsey
Development Director
David has served as Development Director since June 2019. He has served in
leadership positions for many years in both business and ministry in the Tampa area.
He loves to communicate the life saving and Gospel impact of Oasis to a broad
audience of donors and supporters.

Hillary Foster
Assistant Development Director
Hillary has served as the Assistant Development Director since 2023, leading networking, events, and social communications. With a background in school administration, family relations, fundraising, and operations, she is passionate about connecting people with the resources they need. She believes in Oasis because she has seen firsthand how meaningful support can change lives.
Cherisse Rivera
Client Services Director
Cherisse started with Oasis in 2018 and serves as the Client Services Director of our 5
locations. She holds a Masters Degree in Strategic Communications which has
empowered her to lead in various Pro-Life organizations for almost 30 years. She is
passionate about helping women understand their options and find healing in the love of
Christ.
Arlene Burden
Tampa Center Director
Arlene has served as the Center Director in Tampa since October 2025. She worked at
Shriners Hospital for Children in Tampa for over 30 years, in multiple roles. She is
passionate about serving the mothers in her community and providing a safe haven, by
simply being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Chelise Navarro
Tampa Clinic Manager
Chelise started as the Tampa Clinic Manager in June 2026. She is a Licensed Practical
Nurse, with most of her nursing experience serving women through pregnancy resource
centers. She wants to use the experience God has given her to walk alongside women
when they feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or don't know where to turn, reminding them
that they are not alone and that they have a safe place to be heard, supported, and
cared for.
Kim Uden
Wesley Chapel Center Director
Kim joined the Oasis staff in 2022 and currently serves as the Center Director in Wesley
Chapel. She has a degree in Education and has served in ministry leadership roles for
women and children for over 25 years. She desires for women to know the love of God,
experience His grace and truth, and discover the hope and purpose they have in Jesus.
Louna Ciccone
Wesley Chapel Clinic Manager
A previous volunteer, Louna was brought on staff as the Wesley Chapel Clinic Manager
in 2025. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor with a background in Public Health,
Healthcare, Community Services, Education, and Leadership. Her heart is to walk
alongside women with compassion and grace, helping them feel seen, valued,
supported, and loved by Christ.
Lora Novak
Dade City Center Director
Lora has been the Center Director of our Oasis Dade City location since March 2021.
She has a degree in Interior Design along with years of ministry and business
experience. Her passion is to invite God to work miracles in life situations by serving
clients, their families and her team with a heart like Jesus.
Daniela Gomez
Dade City Clinic Manager
Daniela has been our Dade City Clinic Manager since 2025. She has a non profit
background serving women in need. She is passionate about connecting women and expectant mothers with care and resources, so they are valued, respected, and supported while experiencing the practical help and the love of Christ.
Tabitha Mater
New Port Richey Center Director
Tabitha has served as Center Director in New Port Richey since its opening in May of 2024. She is a biblical counselor with an extensive background in ministry. She leads staff and volunteers to serve clients with excellence and produce life change that lasts.
David Dehoyes
Fatherhood Program Director
David has been the Fatherhood Program Director since August of 2025. He is a retired
Army veteran, father of six and grandfather of seven. He is committed to creating a safe
place for new fathers to be supported as they grow in parenting confidence and learn of God’s love for them.
Schearice Moore
Healing Grace Abortion Recovery Program Director
Schearice started as our Healing Grace Abortion Recovery Program Director in July of
2023. She is a Biblical Counselor with 15+ years experience counseling women
through spirit and soul hurts. Her passion is to see people set free and walking in their
God-given purpose.
