With over nine areas of service, it’s important to us that you understand exactly what you’re signing up for when you volunteer to serve. We want you to know exactly what volunteering looks like, from filling out the application to starting your first shift. We believe that committed and consistent volunteers are vital to the smooth operation of our centers, so transparency is our priority.
Serving With Oasis – What To Expect
1. Select an area of Service - scroll through the section above and prayerfully consider which area and commitment level fits you best
2. Complete the Interest Form - Below, you can select your desired service area and let us know you’re interested in serving at Oasis. From there, we will email you the applicable application form. You can expect a response within two to three business days.
3. Submit an Application - Donor or intercession roles do not require an application, but all in-person roles do require an application. The application takes about ten minutes to complete, including a personal reference, Statement of Faith, and permission for a background check. This protects the women and families who trust us, and protects you.
4. Application review and screening - Our Volunteer Application Coordinator will review your application and may call you for a phone screening. You can expect to hear from our team within ten business days, either by email or phone.
5. Placement and Training - Upon approval of your application, you will get connected with our team and scheduled for training. Training times vary by role, from two to six weeks.
